By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. InstruMatch AI is a laboratory equipment discovery and research intelligence platform that utilizes multiple artificial intelligence engines, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini, to assist users in identifying, comparing, and evaluating analytical instruments for scientific research applications.

2.X Recruitment Matching (Where Offered)

Where the Service includes recruitment-related features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Company may surface matches using automated AI-assisted tools
• The Company does not guarantee hiring outcomes
• Users are solely responsible for conducting due diligence
• The Company is not responsible for employment decisions or outcomes

2.1 Service Features

• AI-powered search for HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, DSC, NMR, FTIR, ICP-MS, XRD, and related analytical technologies
• Access to 500+ instruments from 200+ manufacturers
• Research intelligence from Google Scholar, PubMed, and peer-reviewed publications
• Academic citations and scientifically validated recommendations
• Instrument comparison tools and PDF report generation
• Direct connection capabilities with equipment manufacturers
• Access to user reviews and research community feedback
• Search history and saved results (for registered users)

2.2 Service Limitations

The Company does not:

• Manufacture, sell, distribute, or directly provide laboratory equipment
• Accept paid placements or sponsored results
• Guarantee accuracy or completeness of information
• Provide equipment maintenance or technical support

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Types

Free Users (Guest Access)

• 1 search query per day
• No account required
• Limited feature access

Registered Users

• 5 search queries per day
• Save search history
• Access to advanced features

3.2 Account Registration

To access registered user features, you must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain security and confidentiality of your credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You shall not:

The Service utilizes multiple third-party AI engines. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or "hallucinations"
• Recommendations are probabilistic and not guaranteed to be optimal
• The Company does not manually verify every AI-generated output
• AI systems may produce contradictory or inconsistent information

5.3 Professional Judgment Required

5.4 No Warranties of Accuracy

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and all content, features, functionality, software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and algorithms (collectively, "Company Content") are owned by InstruMatch AI or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

6.2 Trademarks and Third-Party Content

All manufacturer names (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Agilent Technologies, Waters Corporation, Shimadzu, etc.) are the property of their respective owners.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR EQUIPMENT PURCHASING ERRORS.

THE COMPANY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) £100, OR (B) AMOUNT PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

10.4 Equipment Purchasing Disclaimer

THE COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES, EQUIPMENT FAILURES, OR RESEARCH DELAYS ARISING FROM EQUIPMENT PURCHASING DECISIONS BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
